Salutation to Life

Before the Christmas break, it is custom at the Honbu Dojo in London that every student completes 365 star jumps, it’s there way of giving thanks to each day of their life for the past year, the idea was taken from the Pilgrims on route to Lhasa (God’s Land) or the Palace of Deity, it’s not how long it takes you to finish, but that you complete the task.

There are many ways that people choose to complete the discipline, some follow the months of the year to keep a check on how many they have done, or some do straight fifty’s.

Everyone looks forward to the challenge and to give thanks to life.

Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year
