Sensei Richard Lovett 5th Dan
In 2015 Sensei Dick Lovett passed his 5th Dan grading examination in Koh Samui, Thailand, having trained with Sensei George Andrews for 30 years. Sensei Dick has lost none of his enthusiasm for Goju Ryu.
He believes that tradition is an important part of karate as is the practical application of its techniques. Students work hard, learn much and enjoy Sensei Dick’s sessions.

​Sensei Dave Amber 5th Dan
Sensei Dave Amber has studied Goju Ryu for over 20 years under Sensei George Andrews and in 2015 he passed his 5th Dan grading examination in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Sensei Dave’s approach to teaching Goju Ryu is that the student should do their best and that their best will improve with practice. His friendly and encouraging approach has helped a great many students over the years.
As with all OTGKA instructors, Sensei Dave believes that whilst tradition is at the heart of his karate, it is an effective self defence also.
