Terauchi Sensei's Gasshuku Report April 2005

Once again London and Winchester were the venues for a splendid course with Terauchi Sensei which was attended by a total of 140 students. Sensei Terauchi has a great sense of humour and the ability to bring out the best in people. As those that have trained with him will know he is a person that doesn't take kindly to laziness and expects over 100% effort. He is a man that only respects people that are ready to train hard, and better their technique.

When he moves, he turns the most proficient fighter's heads, and at 57 he will readily demonstrate his agility and willingness to beginners and seniors alike.
His efforts seem to ignite camaraderie and bring all walks of life to an understanding of what it is to be unprepared for conflict.

Sensei Terauchi is closer to Higaonna Sensei than anybody I know, so to train and be with him is a great honour If you can win his respect, you will be rewarded with an insight into the traditional values of Karate-Do.

I would like to take this opportunity, to thank him for his continued support, and look forward to seeing him in the near future.
