Christmas Time

This is the time of year everybody takes a step back, and a deep sigh of relief, to what they have accomplished in the year, whether it be profit or loss, achievement or failure, happy or sad, at the end of it, you have tried your best.

An educational experience of the past, or time to digest for the present, and a challenge for the future, in those 365 days of 2003, you have met some interesting people, and some tedious, some you won't and never want to see again, whether in love, hate, occupation or in death.

This happens to you, because this is about you, the person that wants everything yesterday, and works for it tomorrow.

This is the time of year when we start to feel insecure, and return to our families, to share our happiness, love and laughter, but to others it 's the worst time. To those who live on the street their occupation and entertainment is the passing traffic, and the hustle and bustle of every day life and the gratuities they can accumulate.

To the mature person that has seen eighty or ninety Christmases it's time to reminisce and think about the family they miss. To them a simple task in the home becomes a day's work, and television is the only conversation they will be having over Christmas.

To some families it will be a time of hype that is full of emptiness, as they sit around the table at Christmas, their hearts are filled with tears, for those that are not with them in body through death, feud or opportunity.

To children it is a time that asks no questions, only to receive and be happy.

As to the future we can take a deep sigh of relief, and think of how fortunate we are that we got through another year, I hope 2004 will be more fruitful for you all, I take this opportunity to wish you all success in the future.

God Bless
