Doing what you want

I think most people only dream about this idea, so long has you don't ask to much your dreams can come true. My request on this occasion was to spend the weekend in the countryside namely Winchester, where I was to conduct a seminar at the Worthy Down army training camp on Sunday morning, see the following link

I made my way down to Winchester on the Saturday morning equipped with my fishing gear, so I could challenge what ever this lake would bring, to be precise Somerley Lakes in Ringwood. As most of you know of my passion for angling, alas I choose a swim that would only give me a suntan and dehydration.

I moved to a more sheltered place and relied on the local knowledge, with this I succeed in catching two fish weighing between them, 15 kilo's.

As to the training arriving at the barracks, we made our way past security that sanctioned your entry. After a short drive I arrived at the Gymnasium, where people would be eagerly waiting to receive instruction.

Also on the cards was a 10 kilometre run for charity in aid of children, and a tournament for army cadets in netball, we were blessed with fine weather and everyone seemed to achieve their goal.

One of the people that trains with our group, entered the 10 kilometre race and then joined us for the training, I must congratulate this person on their effort.

After three hours of the IOGKF curriculum, everyone was ready to relax for the duration of what was left of the day.

My special thanks to the C.O and their staff for allowing us to take photographs on this day.
