Sheffield Hallam Dojo - Paintballing

Hallam Dojo recently had a great social event organised by dojo member Andy Edmondson, 26 of us went paintballing in the Peak National Park, some 10 miles from the centre of Sheffield. The day was superb if a little painful at times, I can't think of a way of conditioning your rear end besides not getting shot there.

I have to say that some of the kyu grades were a little vindictive with certain senior grades who were on the opposing team continuing to shoot a fallen and surrendered Nidan, I had to laugh. Sensei Simon Golland was accidentally shot in the 'kintekki' at close range by yours truely....I didn't see him....honest.

The organiser Andy Edmondson went on to be awarded Rambo of the day by the marshal's for charging the enemy positions minus any ammo.

I would like to thank Andy for organising this event and wish to 'throw down the gauntlet' to the rest of the OTGKA for a weekend of training and paintballing next year.
