Weekend Training at the Institute This course was for the people who are preparing for a grading examination in June at the Institute and for some, later in Okinawa with Master Higaonna. I had organised 3 days of intense training covering endurance, resilience and knowledge. I counted about 40 people over the weekend and after 13 hours of the IOGKF curriculum, everyone had a better understanding of what's required during an examination. there was also a reading on our history from 1936 on Miyagi Chojun Bushi which everyone enjoyed. We also watched a DVD on the history and facts on the life and times of Teruo Chinen Sensei. This went down very well and everyone gave a loud round of applause after the finish. Then we finished the evening with the traditional BBQ and everyone's appetite was fulfilled, because this was a bank holiday weekend everyone could leave and chill out on the Monday, my thanks to all of you that supported this course.
